Nature, Human Work of Art
Water-colorist Patricia Mejía immersed herself in the exploration of the multiple meanings of personal expression through intriguing images since first accessing this media, back in her days of Mexico City, when she was first taught by renowned Professor Guati Rojo, the major contemporary artist from Mexico.
A belief in the need to involve the spectator in an active search for meaning dominates Patricia’s entire creation. Now a resident of Evanston, Illinois, Patricia is eager to share her creations. Through the forceful process of expressing reality, dreams and expectations by means of watercolors, Patricia offers the public a truly intriguing window into the deep recesses of the human soul, beauty, and the world at large.
